From Chuck-
In 1982, Lindy and I were approached about the idea of developing a rafting program
for Young Life's Frontier Ranch, one of the finest youth camps in the country.
Born from our discussions was the idea of addressing the need for outfitter services
that understand the particular needs of families and youth. Starting in 1983 with
5 staff and 5 rafts, we began a journey that has now lasted over 23 years and
has served well over 300,000 guests.
Noah's Ark is recognized nationally for our area of specialty - providing extraordinary
recreation and educational opportunities for individuals, families and youth from
all over the world. Our programs offered have expanded beyond simply providing
access to the Arkansas River's finest rafting to providing extensive backcountry
outfitter services throughout the Collegiate Peaks and Buffalo Peaks Wilderness
Areas.
I believe that the quality of your experience is greatly dependent upon the quality
of our staff who understand and live excellence, commitment, fun, adventure, and
who demonstrate trustworthiness, character and dedication to their work. Our staff
is encouraged to grow their love for the outdoors. As a result, they have traveled
far - from the top of Mt. McKinley to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Many of
our staff also work with families and youth in the off-season. Serving people
is more than simply a summer job - it is a passion and lifestyle.
The quality of our guests is our greatest compliment, and the quality of your
adventure is a result of years of experience in a field we love.
I invite you to explore with us and take a look at the trips we offer!
