Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, and in Buena Vista, that means summer has officially begun. At Noah’s Ark, we’ve been getting ready all spring, and we’re excited to see boats on the river, the ropes course in action, and people enjoying the outdoors.
If you’re thinking about getting out of town for the long weekend, Buena Vista is a great place to be. The mountains are green, the river is flowing, and the weather looks perfect. Expect warm days, cool nights, and that fresh Colorado air that makes you want to stay outside all day.
There’s also a lot happening in town. PaddleFest will be going on all weekend downtown. There will be kayak demos, races, live music, good food, and a fun, relaxed vibe by the river. Even if you’re not into paddling, it’s a great event to check out.
We’ll be running all of our usual trips. Browns Canyon is in great shape, and it’s a solid choice whether you want a relaxed family float or a full day of whitewater adventure. If you’d rather stay dry, our Browns Canyon Adventure Park is also open. It’s set above the river and includes zip lines, balance elements, and awesome views of the mountains. It’s a great way to challenge yourself and have fun without getting in the water!
