Start your day with 2.5 hours of fun on the most innovative high ropes challenge course in Colorado. With zip-lines, high rope bridges, a giant swing and much more, the Browns Canyon Adventure Park is the perfect addition to your Colorado family vacation!
The Park offers 4 Courses with 66 Elements and 2 Adrenaline Features! Courses range from introductory level elements to “blue” and “black” features designed to test the most intrepid adventurer. You can pick the level of challenge that is perfect for you.
Take a break from the action and enjoy a delicious cookout style lunch at our lodge. Then take your passes and head up to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort to enjoy a soothing soak in the natural Hot Springs near Chalk Creek. The passes give you access to the three main pools, and to the natural stone pools in Chalk Creek during appropriate water flows. You will get a wristband to come and go until closing time. For an additional fee at the pool, you can enjoy unlimited access to the water slide when it is operating. Spa and Club are not included in day passes. Hours vary, 9 AM to 9 PM.
You can pick the level of difficulty that is perfect for you!
Closed toe shoes, athletic clothing, long pants or longer shorts. No loose items or jewelry.
Had the MOST amazing time on our backpacking trip- Abbi and Josh, our guides from Noah's Ark, were incredible! Their depth of knowledge and patience were tremendous and added to the beautiful trip that we had. The entire staff at Noah's Ark was so engaging and served us so well. Could not recommend highly enough- would give 10 stars out of 5 if possible!
We had an amazing rafting trip this summer! Noah’s Ark was outstanding across the board. They were professional and it was obvious safety is a priority for them. But they were also personable and engaging. Our guide made an effort to get to know us. She was also very knowledgeable about the river and the area in general. She made sure we saw unique rock formations and interesting things. I highly recommend and would definitely use again.
We had an amazing time on our trip with Caleb as our guide! It was very clear that the Noah's Ark team had the most experience as we saw other groups struggle through rapids that we had no problem with. We enjoyed our conversation with our guide, the lovely scenery and a perfect day for rafting. Highly recommend Noah's Ark!!
Our group had an outstanding time backpacking with Noah's. The staff made it super easy, the food on trail and at basecamp was amazing, and our guides, Emily and Libby, were superb! I would highly recommend adventuring with Noah's!
Ok thrill seekers, this one’s for you! If you’ve ever wanted to try whitewater river rafting then “Noah’s Ark” is here to make that dream a reality for you. A little more than a hour South of Breckenridge you’ll find @noahsarkrafting based in Buena Vista along the Arkansas River. Although our adventure traveled along Class 1-3 rapids, they also offer tours including Class 4 rapids 😳. The entire staff was prepared, supportive, and professional.
The Browns Canyon Adventure Park is an aerial playground filled with many challenges and obstacles to conquer. Overlooking the renowned Arkansas River and the Browns Canyon National Monument, the park has four courses and two High Adrenaline challenges, allowing you to choose your challenge based on age, ability, and plain old gumption. Just like at the ski slopes, the courses range from introductory level elements to “blue” and “black” features, designed to test even the most intrepid adventurers. Because the course requires physical strength and stamina, each participant is encouraged to go at his or her own pace, and may not complete every course.
You can reserve a trip, or just drop by our site, although we highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed. After check-in, we\’ll supply you with a harness and helmet and give you a safety briefing on how to properly use all the equipment. Then one of our highly trained staff will facilitate your experience throughout the courses. Depending on your group size, you may join other participants in a small group as you move around the park.
The Adventure Park is open daily from May until August, and limited availability over Labor Day weekend. Daytime reservations are available at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability is not guaranteed. Evening sessions are available for groups of 25 or more by reservation only.
*Big Drop Swing Only is $15 for adults and youth ($15 for 2 rides)
We will supply you with a harness, helmet, and gloves upon request. You should wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activity, with nothing loose or hanging—no skirts or dresses. We recommend pants or longer shorts in order to be the most comfortable in our harnesses. Long hair should be tied back, with no dangling jewelry and nothing in pockets. Closed toe shoes must be worn; gym shoes or hiking boots are great options. No flip flops or sandals. You may carry a camera or cell phone on the course at your own risk. If you drop an object while on the course, there is no guarantee that it will be recovered.
The activities at Browns Canyon Adventure Park are physically strenuous and require sound body and mind. Every participant is encouraged to proceed at his or her own pace, and take breaks whenever necessary. Therefore, not every participant will succeed in completing every course. The more physically fit you are, the more courses you will likely be able to complete. Ultimately, you are responsible for deciding which parts of the park you are comfortable attempting. Participants with a history of neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac issues may be prohibited from participating. If you are pregnant, you will not be allowed to participate.
The courses and obstacles vary in difficulty. Some elements require more strength, reach, and agility than others. There are a variety of swings, zips, moving footholds, ladders, and places where you need to crawl or duck. Some parts of the course are only 10 feet off the ground, while other elements can be up to 50 feet high. While you will be encouraged to complete as many obstacles as possible, some physical limitations may prevent you from completing a challenge. In this case, a facilitator will assist you to either complete the course or strategically exit.
The course is physically demanding, requiring strength, agility, and cardiovascular stamina. Individuals with the following conditions should consult their health care provider and inform the Adventure Park staff prior to participation.
The Browns Canyon Adventure Park will operate in light to moderate rain. In the case of inclement weather (i.e., heavy rain, lightning, strong winds), we may have to temporarily close the course for your safety. We will invite you to wait in a safe place until the weather clears, at which point you may return to the course to complete your remaining time. If you have completed less than 2 hours of your time are not able to get back on the park, we will issue a pro-rated refund or a rain check for your remaining time.
Yes, spectators are welcome and are able to view participants on the course from designated areas. Spectators are not allowed on any part of the course at any time, including the main deck.
Reservations are highly recommended, especially for large groups. We will always try to accommodate walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed. Please keep in mind that anyone under 18 must have a release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

There are inherent risks in any outdoor activity, but we work hard to minimize unnecessary risks and take precaution on the park, as evidenced by our extensive facilitator training. We have an excellent track record of managing risks and caring for our guests. We want each guest to have fun and to be challenged! Nonetheless, we want to provide an environment that neither puts you at unnecessary risk nor limits your potential to fully enjoy each & every activity. Among the risks are splinters, bruises, and scrapes while on the course.
Our facilitators have been trained in checking and operating the equipment, maneuvering throughout the courses, and enacting emergency and rescue procedures should there be a need. All facilitators are trained in accordance with ACCT standards on a yearly basis.
All participants will be required to sign a Participant Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation. Participants under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
For Browns Canyon Adventure Park, if you cancel your reservation or reduce your number of participants 24 hours or more in advance, you will be refunded all but a cancellation fee of $15 per person/per activity. If you cancel your reservation or reduce your number of participants less than 24 hours prior to your trip, there is no refund. Cancellations and changes must be made during business hours with a reservationist, not by voice mail or email. Increasing your number of participants is based upon availability.
