Reviews

Our group had an outstanding time backpacking with Noah's. The staff made it super easy, the food on trail and at basecamp was amazing, and our guides, Emily and Libby, were superb! I would highly recommend adventuring with Noah's!

We had an amazing rafting trip this summer! Noah’s Ark was outstanding across the board. They were professional and it was obvious safety is a priority for them. But they were also personable and engaging. Our guide made an effort to get to know us. She was also very knowledgeable about the river and the area in general. She made sure we saw unique rock formations and interesting things. I highly recommend and would definitely use again.

We had an awesome time rafting Brown's Canyon! Joel our rafting guide was a laid back experienced professional, who was easy to get along with. He did an excellent job at guiding and instructing us through the rapids we encountered along our way. We would highly recommend this guiding service to anyone who wants to have an awesome time on the Arkansas River. The whole staff at Noah's ark were very courteous and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to the Buena Vista area!

Ok thrill seekers, this one’s for you! If you’ve ever wanted to try whitewater river rafting then “Noah’s Ark” is here to make that dream a reality for you. A little more than a hour South of Breckenridge you’ll find @noahsarkrafting based in Buena Vista along the Arkansas River. Although our adventure traveled along Class 1-3 rapids, they also offer tours including Class 4 rapids 😳. The entire staff was prepared, supportive, and professional.

These guys know what they're doing, and they'll work with your group to be flexible and meet your needs! We had a phenomenal week with rock climbing, rafting, and backpacking for a group of High School and College Age UMC Youth.

This was our first whitewater rafting trip. We had 3 kids from 6-13. Avery was our guide and did an amazing job getting us down the river. The experience was way better than we had imagined! Everyone loved it. Would absolutely go again. Thanks to Avery for a most memorable trip!

FAQ

Adventure Park FAQ

The Browns Canyon Adventure Park is an aerial playground filled with many challenges and obstacles to conquer. Overlooking the renowned Arkansas River and the Browns Canyon National Monument, the park has four courses and two High Adrenaline challenges, allowing you to choose your challenge based on age, ability, and plain old gumption. Just like at the ski slopes, the courses range from introductory level elements to “blue” and “black” features, designed to test even the most intrepid adventurers. Because the course requires physical strength and stamina, each participant is encouraged to go at his or her own pace, and may not complete every course.

You can reserve a trip, or just drop by our site, although we highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed. After check-in, we\’ll supply you with a harness and helmet and give you a safety briefing on how to properly use all the equipment. Then one of our highly trained staff will facilitate your experience throughout the courses. Depending on your group size, you may join other participants in a small group as you move around the park.

The Adventure Park is open daily from May until August, and limited availability over Labor Day weekend. Daytime reservations are available at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability is not guaranteed. Evening sessions are available for groups of 25 or more by reservation only.

The activities at Browns Canyon Adventure Park are physically strenuous and require sound body and mind. Every participant is encouraged to proceed at his or her own pace, and take breaks whenever necessary. Therefore, not every participant will succeed in completing every course. The more physically fit you are, the more courses you will likely be able to complete. Ultimately, you are responsible for deciding which parts of the park you are comfortable attempting. Participants with a history of neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac issues may be prohibited from participating. If you are pregnant, you will not be allowed to participate.

The courses and obstacles vary in difficulty. Some elements require more strength, reach, and agility than others. There are a variety of swings, zips, moving footholds, ladders, and places where you need to crawl or duck. Some parts of the course are only 10 feet off the ground, while other elements can be up to 50 feet high. While you will be encouraged to complete as many obstacles as possible, some physical limitations may prevent you from completing a challenge. In this case, a facilitator will assist you to either complete the course or strategically exit.

The course is physically demanding, requiring strength, agility, and cardiovascular stamina. Individuals with the following conditions should consult their health care provider and inform the Adventure Park staff prior to participation.

The Browns Canyon Adventure Park will operate in light to moderate rain. In the case of inclement weather (i.e., heavy rain, lightning, strong winds), we may have to temporarily close the course for your safety. We will invite you to wait in a safe place until the weather clears, at which point you may return to the course to complete your remaining time. If you have completed less than 2 hours of your time are not able to get back on the park, we will issue a pro-rated refund or a rain check for your remaining time.

Yes, spectators are welcome and are able to view participants on the course from designated areas. Spectators are not allowed on any part of the course at any time, including the main deck.

Reservations are highly recommended, especially for large groups. We will always try to accommodate walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed. Please keep in mind that anyone under 18 must have a release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
